When you join the team as an operation/infrastructure engineer at CrossBrowserTesting.com, you will be working on all sorts of problems that come with running a browser testing service. Located in Germantown, TN, but dealing with web focused companies worldwide, you’ll work with some of the coolest tech companies and face new challenges that will test your skills and push you to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Our Environment? Cutting edge: NodeJS, AngularJS frontend, Redis, MongoDB, MySql, Centos
- Be involved from a systems perspective in developing and delivering technology solutions/applications to assist with growth of the business
- Be the ‘go to guru’ on linux, networking & operation issues
- Work with technical staff to keep the service running and operational
- Work to increase uptime and operational stability
- Work on the configuration, maintenance and patching of our core Linux (CentOS) operating systems & related software
- Responsible for integrity and security of entire infrastructure
- Provide performance monitoring and tuning of all servers
- Installing servers, network gear or any other infrastructure needed
- Maintain documentation on production and test environments
Experience Needed
- Linux (CentOS and some Ubuntu server) and OS X
- Amazon EC2 / RDS
- VMWare
- Networking in a multiplatform environment
- Troubleshooting network, performance, or application issues
- Scripting: bash, python, etc.
- Programming skills always helpful
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from accredited four year college
