DevOps Engineer f/m

Smaato is the global real-time advertising platform for mobile publishers and app developers.

Smaato is seeking a Development and Operations Engineer to help drive operational and infrastructure requirements, and assist with building tools to manage the infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a team player, capable of collaborating in a fast paced environment, as well capable of working very independently with a high level of self-motivation.

* Supporting Development Teams with access, design, development support and requirements * Implementation of Smaato’s high speed scalable global infrastructure * Maintaining the existing AWS infrastructure * Collaborate with development and systems teams

* BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 5+ years of experience in Systems or Development * Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery * Able to shell script and write effective Python or Ruby * Extremely comfortable with Unix/Linux CLI (Debian or Ubuntu Linux preferred) * Deep familiarity with TCP/IP, with understanding of internet routing protocols and switched environments * Distributed systems experience * Experience with automated deployment, provisioning, and configuration software like Puppet, Chef, Ansible or Saltstack * Experience with installing, managing, and operation of NoSQL and SQL databases, like MongoDB, MySQL and Vertica * Familiar with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) * Fluency in English; German skills are a plus
