Skyword is seeking an energetic, experienced self-starter to support many of our clients’ content marketing programs. The Content Strategist will work with their Director to manage client relationships, ensure delivery of all client deliverables and orchestrate other company resources to meet our clients’ goals. All content marketing programs are managed using Skyword’s Content Marketing software platform. * Work with the Director, Content Services on the delivery of many content marketing programs and content marketing strategies * Lead team in conducting market research and competitive analysis; Help clients formulate their content strategy * Set up and manage programs using Skyword’s Content Marketing software platform * Manage a team of freelance writers that will produce original, exclusive online content for our clients’ websites * Manage keywords and topical assignments to writers * Review copyedited content to ensure adherence to established content standards and brand voice * Support Skyword’s Writer Recruitment team in the recruitment of writers * Work with Skyword’s Editorial team to ensure writers are properly trained on the content standards for their programs * Identify opportunities to expand the client relationship and drive contract renewals * Train clients to use the Skyword platform * Provide clients with ongoing reporting, strategic recommendations and advice * Ensure delivery of monthly program goals * Work internally, across departments, to deliver compelling solutions for our clients

* Bachelors degree or equivalent * 2-4 years of digital marketing * 1-3 years of search, social and content marketing * 2-3 years of client management * Experience with online content and SEO is preferred * Experience working with digital advertising agencies or consultancies is preferred * Experience within a startup, high tech environment is preferred * Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Active in Social Media * Solid references **Core Competencies:** * Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills * High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation * Ability to analyze issues and develop relevant and actionable plans, programs and recommendations * Ability to build partnerships and foster teamwork in a fast-paced environment * Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to take responsibility and consistently exceed objectives * Positive attitude, professional demeanor and flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment * Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture * Comfort with technology and the ability to discuss basic Internet technologies with clients * Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems, while maintaining a strong customer focus * High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation * Able to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to challenges * Ability to manage time around unexpected situations and/or requests and prioritize workflow by opportunity
