Compliance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer who will develop and implement a compliance program and work with management to ensure that programs are compliant. This person will also be responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures of the Credit Union comply with the appropriate laws and regulations.

• Three to five years of similar or related experience working in a Compliance Officer role for a financial institution preferred.
• Must have a strong understanding of key regulations (TILA, RESPA, TIS, Regulation B, HMDA, NACHA, Card Act, etc...)
• Four year college degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills required.
• Ability to independently write reports and present them with conviction.
• Knowledge of the credit union industry preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Episys (Symitar), and other job specific software.
• Excellent project management skills.
