Recruiting Manager

Skillshare is a global learning community for creators. Anyone can take thousands of online classes or even teach a class themselves.

As the first Recruiting Manager at Skillshare, you’ll have the opportunity to work with each hiring manager to understand each team’s hiring needs, help drive the full recruiting life cycle, optimize our hiring process, and deliver an exceptional hiring experience to each and every candidate. You’ll also contribute to our strategy of building a strong employer brand.

* Constantly source new candidates through the internet, referrals, networking, and other strategies * Lead and facilitate a highly efficient, full-cycle recruitment process from outreach to offer * Ensure a highly professional and positive candidate experience, regardless of outcome * Be a Skillshare embassador - inspire candidates with our mission, visions, and opportunities * Actively maintain and thoughtfully communicate with a bench of potential future hires * Develop a deep understanding of each team’s goals and become an integral business partner in each team’s growth and success * Develop and execute our employer brand-building strategy, especially in the NYC and tech/start-up community

* You have 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (at least 1-2 years in-house) * You have a track record of quantitative success and you’re motivated by goals and numbers * You have a high bar for excellence and quality - you always seek the best fit for the team * Your emotional intelligence is through the roof: you can connect with candidates and understand their background, motivations, and potential. * You’ve shown success and adaptability in high-speed and/or high-growth environments * You’re rigorously organized, process-oriented, and detail oriented in your approach * You’re extremely collaborative and able to gracefully manage many evolving relationships * Technical hiring experience a plus
