Marketing Manager

Skillshare is a global learning community for creators. Anyone can take thousands of online classes or even teach a class themselves.

As a marketing manager on the Skillshare team, you'll be responsible for managing direct acquisition and retention through multiple channels. This includes paid acquisition, email marketing, promotions strategy, and referrals. You'll work cross-functionally across all teams to make this happen and work to set goals around how to increase our student membership base. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and uses data to uncover insights and opportunities to drive impact. You'll need to be incredibly resourceful, be adept at managing multiple projects, and have a high attention to detail to be successful in this role.

* Paid Acquisition: Manage our paid channels to drive direct acquisition while maintaining our CAC to LTV ratio * Email Marketing: Lead all aspects of email marketing to drive acquisiton, engagement, and reactivation through customer segmentation and behavioral analysis * Promotions: Work cross-functionally to plan upcoming acquisition and promotional campaigns * Analytics: Be the point person to track and analyze all things data related to hit our KPI goals

* 3-5 years professional experience in a marketing or community-facing role * Online marketing experience: you've helped shape and execute marketing strategies online * Experience creating creative marketing assets (Photoshop experience a plus) * Organized and detail focused: you can juggle multiple tasks with ease, pay close attention to detail at every turn, and plan ahead * Excellent verbal and written communication skills: previous experience with communications is a plus * Curious: you like looking for new insight and knowledge to inform your work * Collaborative: you're a team player open to giving and receiving feedback and working constructively with others * Mission Driven: you deeply believe in the Skillshare vision to create a community for creators
