Email Marketing Manager

As an email marketing manager on the Skillshare team, you'll be responsible for one of the biggest growth channels to drive customer acquisition and retention. You should be organized, detail oriented, and highly analytical to uncover insights to drive impact. You'll get to work on launching monthly marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, design behavioral lifecycles to drive retention, and continuously experiment with new ideas and hypothesis to drive growth.

* Work cross functionally with each team to organize assets for ongoing email campaigns * Build and deploy emails using custom built templates using table-based HTML * Design and iterate on automated lifecycle emails that are behaviorally triggered * Generate weekly data reports for new user activation and customer retention

* 1-5 years professional experience in an email marketing, retention, or CRM role * Experience building emails from scratch using table-based HTML * Experience creating marketing assets (Photoshop experience a plus) * Familiarity with SQL, HTML/CSS, Google Analytics, and Mixpanel * You're organized and detail focused to be able to prioritize multiple projects * You can adapt to a fast-paced startup environment * You're a hard worker and have side-projects or school work to prove it
