Creative Producer

Skillshare is a global learning community for creators. Anyone can take thousands of online classes or even teach a class themselves.

The Marketing Team is a brand new team at Skillshare, so this is an exciting opportunity to join the on the ground floor and help set the team's creative and brand strategy. As the first Creative Producer, you'll be the point person for the creation of all creative assets that get shared out externally to our community and beyond. You'll work cross-functionally across all teams to make this happen and work to increase our brand awareness, strengthen the Skillshare voice, and thereby drive direct acquisition. You’ll use feedback from previous work to constantly iterate on and improve your creative approach. The ideal candidate is highly creative, incredibly resourceful, adept at managing multiple projects, and has a high attention to detail to be successful in this role.

* Strategize on new creative content to distribute to our community and outside audience * Take creative ideas from concept all the way through production so they can be distributed by the Marketing team * Curate and create all creative assets for our weekly email newsletters * Manage our blog and the creation of tutorials on Skillshare to drive inbound traffic * Help create and drive Skillshare’s content marketing strategy based on company-wide goals and measurable learnings

* You have 3+ years of professional experience in a creative role * You’ve created successful online creative content before - preferably for an internet platform and/or start-up * You’ve repeatedly created viral or highly successful online content * You’re a highly successful creative communicator (video preferred - but writing, blogging, etc also applicable) * You’re able to use insights and feedback to experiment and iterate into new creative ideas * You’re a strong collaborator - you work easily and productively with others * You’re rigorously organized and can manage complex projects
