Graphic Designer

**JOB PURPOSE** Create original graphic art, prints, and patterns for the Skechers Apparel Line along with all branding materials. **ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS** * Create original graphics for the Skechers Apparel Line * Design and execute patterns and print for Skechers Apparel Line * Design Branding Materials, Hangtags, Labels and Trim packages * Execute Production-Ready, 100% Art Set-Ups for Vendors * Remain up-to-date on the latest print techniques, graphic trends, and other media relative to graphic design * Possess a strong willingness to learn new techniques and to educate yourself on the latest innovations * Assist with the research and creation of concept boards, Seasonal Design Briefs, and additional presentation materials for Apparel Presentations. * Under the direction of Design Director create a consistent visual language to communicate our brand for all presentations **ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES** - Visits to local print houses and trim vendors for research and education - Partner with Apparel Designers to create visual presentations for key meetings - Partner with Development to comment on Print and Graphic Art Strike-offs - Potentially attend classes or seminars to increase knowledge and grow job skills **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** - No

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** - 3-5 years of experience and Associates Degree or a combination of experience will be considered - Candidate must have experience with Mac OSX, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite 2 or higher. - Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator - Hand illustration techniques and MS PowerPoint experience a plus **QUALIFICATIONS** - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
