Appraisal and Consulting Manager

* Supervise and mentor subordinates (as assigned), workflow to produce on time deliveries * Inspect properties * Make written and verbal contacts with market participants, clients, and co-workers * Review 3rd party reports (i.e. inspection, seismic report, zoning report, engineering and environmental reports) * Research property and market information * Analyze subject and comparable data * Develop appraisal and consulting reports and other deliveries * Provide valuation consulting services * Resolve non-compliant issues through verbal and written communication with agent, borrower and/or asset manager * Assist in real estate research * Ensures confidentiality of client data * Quality control * Work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team player * With minimal supervision, perform valuations and lead a team of valuation professionals by providing guidance and quality control.

* 5+ years of commercial appraisal experience * Strong valuation expertise * Knowledge and experience analyzing all of the primary commercial property types * Must be able to adapt quickly and efficiently to client-specific requirements and objectives * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal * Ability to meet deadlines while achieving high levels of accuracy * Ability to leverage subordinates and lower cost resources **Advanced knowledge of the following is required:** * MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word * Argus **Required Education:** * Bachelor’s degree **Preferred field of Study:** * Real Estate * Accounting * Finance **Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:** * Unencumbered driver’s license * Certified General Real Property Appraiser License * MAI designation preferred
