Summary
Sinclair Digital is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead, drive, and own marketing for all of our existing digital products—including a new streaming media service. This is a high profile, significant project for the company, and the entire industry! You will be at the forefront of the streaming entertainment category as well as deeply immersed in Sinclair Digital’s product innovation roadmap.
Responsibilities
* Lead brand positioning, messaging, and product naming strategy for Sinclair Digital’s new streaming media service—as well as all of our existing digital products * Manage Sinclair Digital’s brand architecture across multiple products to create clarity for our consumer while building brand value * Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies and subsequently carry through to execution, measurement and optimization * Set KPIs to measure and optimize marketing plans * Partner with the Ad Sales and Product teams to develop marketing plans that drive both brand awareness, familiarity and favorability while maximizing sustained subscriber growth * Collaborate with product, UX, finance, content and distributions teams to articulate product positioning, features and benefits * Manage the creative development process with the internal creative team * Assess team requirements to hire, train and develop people, as needed, to meet goals and objectives
Ideal Candidate
* B.A. required * 2-3 years experience working in the multichannel video programming space * 10+ years relevant experience in brand strategy with a leading consumer facing brand or brand agency -- entertainment, media distribution and or subscription experience a huge plus * Deep knowledge of linear TV model, and marketing and acquisition of broadcast TV users * Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment with limited direction * Experience launching major products or brands under accelerated timelines * Expertise in working with and executing through, diverse media plans including TV, Digital, Social, Mobile, Out-of-home, direct response and programmatic display * Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence cross functional teams and senior executives * Strong quantitative and analytical skills As an entertainment company, Sinclair is looking for candidates who understand the details of delivering media content to various platforms. Broadcasting is a rapidly changing environment. The person who fills this role will help Sinclair lead the world in media delivery, mobile video, multi-screen entertainment and the future of television experiences.
