Finance Analyst

Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is one of the largest and most diversified television broadcasting companies in the country. Sinclair owns and operates, programs or provides sales services to more television stations than anyone and has affiliations with all the major networks.

Our Finance Analyst to works closely with our Budgeting and Forecasting Manager on TCPlus accounting and reporting, Tennis Channel monthly departmental reporting, and assists with Tennis Channel annual budget preparation. We are seeking an individual with a curious nature and initiative.

* Responsible for tracking and reporting of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual TCPlus revenue and subscribers by provider * Responsible for developing and tracking key metrics for TCPlus * Prepare monthly TCPlus revenue journal entries by provider * Track and record monthly TCPlus deferred revenue * Implement and maintain tracking of new TCPlus providers as added * Provide ad hoc TCPlus information to SVP of Digital Media as needed * Work closely with Budgeting and Forecasting Manager and department heads to develop and maintain annual budget * Prepare monthly departmental actual to budget analysis and review results with Budgeting and Forecasting Manager * Assist Budgeting and Forecasting Manager with annual tax filings * Assist with implementation of new TCPlus accounting and reporting software package * Assist with implementation of new Budgeting and Forecasting software package * Special projects as needed

* Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting * 1-2 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting * Experience with DeFacto or other major budgeting and reporting software package a plus but not required * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel * Familiarity with Great Plains and/or FRx Reporting a plus but not required * Above average analytical skills
