Software Tester

Signpost is cloud-based CRM software that gives local businesses the power to effortlessly build and manage customer relationships. Signpost automatically builds customer profiles by capturing email, phone, social and transactional data. Their automated marketing engine uses this data to drive purchases, reviews, referrals and loyalty.

We’re looking for someone with meticulous attention to detail and outstanding communication skills to help us efficiently spot issues in our software as early as possible in the development cycle. This role could entail both manual and automated testing of complex software - you’ll be a big part of helping us deliver a high-quality product to our customers.

• Perform exploratory testing of new and existing features to shake out issues
• Work with developers to help investigate and diagnose defects
• Reproduce reported bugs and verify their resolution
• Develop test plans and manually execute them on staging environments
• Perform post-release testing as necessary

What We Expect from You:

• Ability to think like a user (and a hacker) and articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Possess a keen attention to detail
• 1-5 years of professional experience in manual or automated testing
• Be comfortable with the Linux command line as well as SQL databases
• Thrive in a startup environment - where we’re making it up as we go
• Be a team player with a desire to build a great product
• Have a bachelor's degree
• Experience testing on mobile a plus
