Senior Systems Engineer

Participates in semi-complex maintenance, enhancement, testing and support of existing hardware. Participates in semi-complex design, development, testing, and modification of hardware. Supports the quality process by the rigorous and detailed execution of module, sub-system and system test procedures. Participates with designing, developing, and implementing semi-complex hardware solutions while adhering to manufacturing capabilities. Provides support in maintaining all engineering documentation to support a design effort. Participates in estimating semi-complex task duration. Provides supports in reviewing semi-complex specifications and other documentation to determine hardware engineering requirements.

Performs important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting more complex, less clearly-defined issues. Refers semi-complex, unusual problems to others. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems. Determines best methods for hardware requirements. Generates sketches, drawings, acceptance tests, and manuals together with other engineers to determine that all hardware requirements have been met for a project.

* BS/BA in an Engineering discipline required - Electrical Engineering preferred * AutoCAD, E-plan or equivalent required * 1-3 years of successful experience in related field * Ability to take high level hardware descriptions and create detailed electrical schematic drawings. * Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable. * Siemens' hardware knowledge preferred - such as Simatic and Sinamics * 2D Hardware layout design and drawing experience required * Knowledge of ANSI and IEC drawing standards preferred
