Mechanical Division Sales

In the spring of 1948, Jim and Bernie Shrader founded Shrader Tire & Oil in Toledo, Ohio. A true family business, Jim and Bernie's children Jim Jr., Gerri, and Patti filled roles in the company after school.

We are currently looking for the right candidate to help us grow our repair service with trucking customers. This is an outside sales position as an extension of the Mechanical Division. The position will provide a tremendous amount of opportunity for growth and development.

* The candidate will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing business related to the mechanical repair division. * This includes but may not be limited to basic knowledge of periodic and/or annual inspections, preventive maintenance and bumper to bumper repairs.

* Solicit existing and new customers that have a need for mechanical service work within their companies * Develop relationships with key decision makers at fleets to explain the services offered and close new business related to our mechanical offerings * Work closely with technicians to understand each fleet customer’s mix of equipment and needs to determine upselling opportunities to the fleet * Communicate on a regular basis with fleet customers to maintain feedback of service received and offer continuous improvement to the store manager and/or technician * Advise management in determining training and equipment needs that will further enhance the services required by fleets
