The Photo Retoucher is responsible for optimizing image output for print and digital use, cleaning up and enhancing product images to highlight features through color and detail correction, while maintaining consistency, achieving creative objectives and meeting Shinola’s brand standards.

- Execute moderate to complex Photoshop retouching - Analyze image content, determine any needed enhancement - Perform color correction, color balance, adjust contrast, exposures, cosmetic retouching and build image composites for final use - Scale and size images for multiple uses - Ensure image quality control before uploading - Create, execute and revise layouts for assorted digital jobs - Maintain proper file naming and image protocol for upload and archiving - Ensure tight deadlines are met

- 5+ years experience with jewelry, apparel or automotive photo retouching - Proficient with Mac OS - Competency with InDesign, Illustrator and master of Photoshop including advanced masking techniques, layer comps, adjustment layers, image compositing - Strong understanding of all phases of production, layout and design - Great eye for detail and takes ownership of work - Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment - Must be organized and process oriented - Excellent interpersonal skill supporting a team environment
