Junior Web Developer

Sharp Action is seeking a Junior Web Developer to join our high-impact team of engineers, analysts and marketing professionals. The role is ideal for someone who has a love of web development and some experience using PHP, Javascript, and Python, via previous jobs and/or personal projects.

• Take ownership over the PHP/Javascript Wordpress code powering a small network of sites and make incremental performance and maintainability improvements
• Use Git and Github for source control, issue tracking, and documentation
• Fully participate in code reviews, by
  • Explaining their code succinctly and accurately to someone who has not worked on the project; and
  • Understanding and discussing the functionality and performance of others' code

• Experience with Django, Flask, or other Python web frameworks
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with A/B testing
