Responsibilities
  • Provide 24x7 global 3rd level support for the entire Windows/Linux platform and related infrastructure.
  • Proactively monitor operational status, capacity, and performance of supported infrastructure, ensuring that they remain within acceptable limits.
  • Administrate systems and servers to ensure availability of service to authorized users.
  • Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Maintain and test Disaster Recovery procedures on a Quarterly basis.
  • Ensure high quality documentation for supported infrastructure is developed and maintained.
  • Provide assessment of new opportunities and their estimated cost.
  • Ensure SOX and other legal and regulatory compliance in the infrastructure area.
  • Manage vendor relationships and engagements in the infrastructure area
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong technical experience in deploying and supporting Windows Server 2008/2012.
  • Deep understanding of vSphere ESXi 5.x and experience with deploying and managing a highly virtualized infrastructure.
  • Understanding and experience with SAN storage such as EMC, NetApp, and Pure Storage.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell commandlets.
  • Strong experience in supporting various Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, etc.).
  • Understanding and experience with production server backup technology such as Veeam or Avamar.
  • Experience with load balancing technology, specifically F5 LTM/GTM.
  • Experience with administering and supporting Active Directory.
  • Experience with administering and supporting Exchange 2010.
  • Proficiency in scripting and general automation activities is a plus.
  • Experience with Single sign-on solutions such as Okta are a plus.
  • Experience with operational analytic and monitoring tools is a plus (Splunk, Solarwinds, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Systems with increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong infrastructure support and administration experience.
  • Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, including listening skills and an open attitude toward constructive feedback.
  • Ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to travel to other locations (both domestic and international) as needed.
