Summary
The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, cloud computing, network administration and virtualization. This person must have an active Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
* Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems * Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems * Provides support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client problems * Provides second level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems * Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process * Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers * Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardwares: mainframe, mini, or client/server based
Ideal Candidate
* Proficiency in implementing, administering/managing, and troubleshooting physical and virtualized MS Windows and Linux servers and associated core services, including identity and access management, domain administration, and security information and event management * Proficiency in implementing, administering/managing, and troubleshooting physical and virtualized MS Windows and Linux desktops and laptops * Working knowledge of supporting network installation and maintenance * Working knowledge of application administration and maintenance to assure compliance with DHS sensitive and classified systems security requirements as well as support to major application development * Familiarity with planning, implementing, operating, and maintaining virtualization technologies for servers and workstations * Master's degree preferred * At least 2 years of system administration with significant Windows Server and MS SQL Server experience * A Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate * Core plus enterprise Cloud and AWS in particular * Core plus significant VMware * Core plus DevOps (cloud laaS and PaaS and/or Virtualized Infrastructure)

Additional Notes on Compensation

Generous base salary, Three weeks of PTO, Excellent health benefits program (Medical, dental and vision). Education and conference reimbursement, 401k retirement plan. We contribute 3% of base salary irrespective of employee's contribution.
