Technical Service Representative

This position provides technical support to Sealed Air customers and support Sales in the promotion of Sealed Air packaging and equipment systems.

* Provides equipment troubleshooting, repair and maintenance, and process improvements to customers using Sealed Air / Cryovac materials. * Assists in installation and startup of equipment * Trains customer personnel in equipment operation, maintenance and sanitation * Advises customers in establishing PM programs and spare parts requirements * Conducts audits of equipment maintenance, material and packaging quality * Maintains records and issues reports required in the field service function * Position generally requires daily travel with frequent overnight travel. Flexibility in an altered work week schedule is required due to weekend and sometimes holiday installations.

**Required Qualifications:** High School Diploma **Additional Qualifications:** * Associate’s Degree; equivalent from a two year college or technical school; or at least 3 years industry experience preferred. * Individuals should possess good interpersonal communications skills * Basic computer literacy * Competent in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic trouble shooting. * Must be able to read electrical schematics * Must have a trainer’s mentality * Valid Driver’s License * Ability to travel * Be a self-starter
