Tax Analyst II

The Tax Analyst is a key member of the Tax Team who interacts with the Sales & Use Tax Manager, and may also interact with other major functional groups within the Tax Department (US Federal, US State, and International). Work from this position will support state Sales & Use tax filings and audits, and the Tax Managers and Directors supporting tax planning initiatives. Knowledge of multi-state Sales & Use tax laws are key to providing timely and accurate analysis and reporting results.

* Extract and prepare data for third party Sales & Use Tax and business license compliance service provider * Review reconciliation and returns prepared by outsource provider and request funding * Reconcile Sales & Use accounts in the balance sheet * Research multiple state and local Sales & Use tax laws * Receive and review customer exemption certificates and update DMA webtool kit * Assist with various income tax returns as needed * Assist in income tax provisions as needed * Assist in Sales & Use audit IDR information gathering * Assist in tax planning projects * Perform other duties as needed

**Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Accounting is required * 2-4 years combined experience with either a public accounting firm or in private company’s tax department * Experience with multiple state and local Sales & Use tax filings, including research * Experience with Sales & Use tax software * Proficient in Excel * Good analytical skills, with good attention to detail * Good communication skills (oral and written) * Strong team player **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with DMA Toolkit * Experience with income tax compliance
