Associate Project Manager

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an experienced and professional individual to join our team as an Associate Project Manager. * Assist in identifying, leading and directing team resources. * Assist in planning and controlling aspects of a project such as scope, schedule, and budget. * Work under supervision to develop and manage customer relationships. * Successfully manage financial and technical aspects of projects. * Assist in proposal efforts. * Effectively use project management tools. * Work in a safe, healthful and environmentally sound manner, report accidents and unsafe conditions promptly, and perform ergonomic exercises to reduce likelihood of injuries. * Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes. * Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field * Up to two years of project management experience * Strong leadership ability and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment * Knowledge of MS Office and PM tools and practices * PMP certification or the ability to obtain certification within one year * Ability to work independently and the ability to multi-task and prioritize * Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment * Background check results satisfactory to SEL * Negative drug test result(s) **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of electric power system protection, integration and automation practices * Bachelors of Science degree * Knowledge of MS Project * Knowledge of Deltek Vision software
