Route Sales Supervisor

The Schwebel Baking Company is seeking a full-time experienced Sales Supervisor for our Route Sales agency in Rochester, NY. Description: Directs daily activities of drivers to assure product is delivered.

• Job training drivers while deliveries are made.
• Train and enforce drivers on company policies and procedures.
• Oversees and maintains accuracy and compliance with all required paperwork and execution of detail.
• Maintain and enforce vehicle maintenance with drivers.
• Loads and unload products daily.
• Accounts for all products delivered and returned, completes paperwork as required.
• Facilitates communications for truck and equipment repairs with vehicle maintenance.
• Assists management in performing annual performance reviews with drivers.
• Maintains compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Learns all routes in agency and has the ability to run routes as needed.
• Maximize employee morale and productivity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have route sales experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a clean and safe driving record.
• Must have previous sales experience.
• Must have previous supervisory experience.
• Possess excellent communication skills and be highly motivated.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Constantly reaching; frequently sitting, standing, bending, squatting, walking, kneeling, climbing, and driving.
• Occasionally pushing and/ or pulling up to 300lbs.
