Electrical Applications Engineer

Schindler currently has a need for an Electrical Engineer to design, modify, or apply components and systems using engineering methods and techniques to meet specified technical objectives.

• Analyze and solve design, and application, problems.
• Implement established procedures to achieve defect-free designs or applications.
• Customize existing software and hardware to meet specific building needs.
• Provide design solutions to assigned safety, performance, cost, reliability, and maintenance problems.
• Provide effective task management to meet project timelines and technical objectives.
• Interface with multi-disciplinary and multi-functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Requirements:

• 3+ years relevant experience desired.
• Previous Elevator Industry experience is a plus.
• Basic Network administration, maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting skills are desirable. Strong CAD skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and .Net is a plus.
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze electrical and electromechanical schematics and drawings.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Detail oriented, flexible, and works well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work in deadline driven environment. Independent learner, and self-motivated individual.
