Financial Analyst - Cash Management

Large, reputable company in San Diego seeks an Financial Analyst to join its treasury team. This individual will be responsible for managing banking relationships, monitoring bank account activities, and assist with cash transfers.

• Perform daily cash movement activities.
• Work closely with the Cash Management senior staff members to ensure daily liquidity needs are met.
• Work closely with Cash Management senior staff members to forecast future cash flows and cash requirements to plan for short-term borrowing and investments.
• Perform reconciliations and monitor bank accounts activity.
• Provide analytical support for a variety of projects within the Cash Management team.
• Maintain a close relationship with Company’s cash management banks.
• Provide support for all cash management application programs and bank software.
• Serve as primary back-up to Cash Management group’s senior staff members and Specialists.
• Assist with cash management daily cash responsibilities such as initiating and/or approving critical, time sensitive cash transfers requiring a high degree of accuracy.
• Administer Company bank accounts and cash management services
• Review bank analysis statements for accuracy and payment of fees.
• Prepare or review tax filings such as FBAR and others.
• Assist in preparation of budget.
• Propose and implement process improvements

• BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
• 3+ years of prior cash management or treasury experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels within an organization
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint preferred
• Experience with bank payment solutions is a plus.
• Must have extreme attention to detail.
