* We are seeking a multi-talented Motion / Interaction Designer who bridges interaction, motion, and graphic design to deliver the overall visual design of diverse interactive media. This hybrid, hands-on designer will have an understanding of emerging technologies, non-traditional interfaces, and physical spaces, and a portfolio that * illustrates an ability to bring visual excellence to generative, responsive, and other interactive experiences. As a core part of a project team, the Interactive Visual Designer will work within the studio team on the development and execution of our visual design in all forms. * A visual artist whose command of design establishes the emotional tenor of a project, paints the complexion of its interfaces, and brings clarity to complexity. * A passionate storyteller. * Skilled in generating design and motion studies that communicate spatial and time-based concepts. * Fluent in diverse interactive formats ranging from mobile and web applications to immersive interactive surfaces and environments. * Experienced in creating multi-user interfaces that engage individuals as well as groups in both physical and virtual spaces. * An effective communicator. * Intrinsically motivated by the adventure of breaking boundaries to create something new and different. * A true collaborator with a positive disposition, a solution-based attitude, and the ability to work with people with diverse skills, backgrounds, and beliefs * Passionate about detail, quality, and the pursuit of artistic excellence, demonstrating true artisanship. * Understanding of the gap between good and great work and consistently working to cross it. * Informed about design trends but interested in pushing past them in a thoughtful and original way. * Authentic and honest with a unique worldview.

* A masterful command of the craft of design, consistently achieving compelling aesthetic solutions * A strong knowledge of the design process in order to develop and deliver complex projects * Expert proficiency in relevant design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects are required; 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D are desired) * The ability to generate and refine ideas into thoughtful, provocative concepts * The ability to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and in writing * The capacity to rapidly respond to feedback from the Creative Director * A proven ability to nurture and grow the skills of more junior designers * The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously * Professional experience in motion and visual design * Graphic Design/Interactive Design (or related) professional degree * Outstanding portfolio * Passion for design, technology, and art * Experience with projects that contain physical components is not required but preferred
