Summary
Our goal is to become the next $1 billion SaaS company headquartered in ATL and we need to add a Staff Accountant to our Finance & Accounting team in order to achieve that goal. You will be responsible for managing and reconciling selected general ledger accounts, assisting with annual budget, tax and audit preparation, and analyzing expenses. You are an Accounting enthusiast who wants to learn Accounting practices from the ground up and assist your team members in any way possible. Responsibilities
* Participate in month-end close processes. Perform general ledger account reconciliations, record accruals and deferrals, and calculate journal entries. * Process accounts payable: record vendor invoices and make payments. * Manage company credit card accounts and employee expense reimbursements. * Keep track of recurring expenses and look for opportunities to reduce spending. * Record all cash transactions in our accounting system and assist with accounts receivable.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. * 0-3 years Accounting experience. * Practical working knowledge of US GAAP. * Work effectively in a fast-paced, tech environment; able to respond quickly to changing priorities. * Solid verbal and written communication skills with all levels of an organization as well as customers. * Solid analytical, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
