About SalesLoft
We Believe In Sales. At SalesLoft, we live and breathe sales for you – the modern sales professional. We understand that there’s a difference between having a sales team and being a sales organization. That’s why we’ve created the Modern Sales Engagement Platform, allowing you to reach prospects faster and more effectively.
Summary
Our goal is to become the next $1 billion SaaS company headquartered in ATL and we need to add a Revenue Accounting Manager to our Finance & Accounting team in order to achieve that goal. You’ll own all things revenue: calculate GAAP revenue, analyze revenue metrics, and manage customer billing. Developing an understanding of how our diverse financial systems work together is integral to the success of this role and the Finance team. This role is the start of our Revenue and Billing team that will help scale our business. If you want to build and lead your own team, this is your chance. Service to our customers is one of our core values, so ensuring that billing is correct is very important to us. This is a high profile role in our company, so this is a great way for your work to stand out with our Executive team.
Responsibilities
* Calculate Revenue, Deferred Revenue, and related accounts according to GAAP. * Track metrics on recurring revenue and provide in-depth analysis on them. * Manage Billing Specialist for customer billing and recording of revenue data. * Implement and maintain financial systems pertaining to customer billing, revenue recognition, and analysis. * Work with other departments to improve and streamline processes and policies. * Calculate sales commissions in partnership with Sales Operations.
Ideal Candidate
* Understanding of how financial systems work together. * 2 years (we’d love more!) experience as Manager or Team Lead. * 2 years (we’d love more!) experience in a corporate (start-up or large) Accounting team OR with a Consulting company working with corporate Accounting teams. * We use Quickbooks Online, SaaSOptics, Octiv, and Stripe.com, so experience with these is a plus (but not a must-have). * High level of integrity and discretion in managing confidential information. * Work effectively in a fast-paced tech environment; able to respond quickly to changing priorities. * Solid verbal and written communication skills with all levels of an organization. * Project management skills. * Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * CPA preferred.
