Oracle Engineer Job

SAIC has an opportunity for an Oracle Engineer with experience leading development and maintenance of custom applications using Oracle Database and Oracle Application Server.

- User Provisioning (add, delete, permissions, etc.) - Create/modify Oracle forms and reports. - SARMIS end user training - Oracle application administration. - Maintain system configuration control and documentation.

* Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience with Oracle Databases. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Oracle Engineer with experience leading development and maintenance of custom applications using Oracle Database and Oracle Application Server, including experience with the following: Requirements gathering, analysis and Business Process re-engineering * Oracle 10g and 11g Application Server installation and administration, with Apache HTTP Server, Oracle Forms Server, and Oracle Reports Server deployed with Java based application * Oracle 10g and 11g Database Administration * Oracle Developer Suite including Forms and Reports up to 11g, in Web- enabled environment. Java application support and development * Oracle Discoverer Administration and Usage * Oracle SQL*Loader; PL/SQL, including database packages, procedures, functions, and triggers * Database and application performance tuning * Implementation and configuration of custom role-based security solutions * Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/Server 2000/2003 x64; ODBC Administration * MS Excel, including pivot tables and ODBC * Development and writing both system and user documentation * Application code Configuration Management Experience with Navy, Budget and Accounting applications, including: Knowledge of Navy Budgeting, Accounting, Allocations, Payroll systems and data feeds, including working with multiple contractors and Government organizations. * Experience with End-User support.
