Summary
RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty Group is looking for a Field Marketing Representative. We are a fast paced, energetic and rapidly growing organization that offers a great opportunity for someone interested in further developing their career. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the insurance industry with existing independent broker relationships.
Responsibilities
* Business development with independent insurance brokers across our entire territory, including New York State and the Northeast, with a focus on Eastern NYS. * Developing and implementing marketing strategies for both existing and prospective customer base. * Developing new and fostering existing relationships with independent retail insurance producers to develop quote activity which will lead to achieving monthly premium goals. * Developing comprehensive marketing plan to facilitate current business growth initiatives, as well as comprehensive analysis of competitors in the Downstate NY area and other parts of the Northeast. * Analyzing market trends to evaluate, develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed organizational goals.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology or Business is preferred, but not required. * Must possess strong computer/technology/systems skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills are required. * Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision. * Proven track record of being a team player. * Must be open to significant business travel as determined by the needs of the business.
