Job Responsibilities in Community Retail and Long Term Care settings:

• Establishing or maintaining patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients
• Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs
• Answering telephones, responding to questions or requests by patient and Pharmacy Technicians
• Prepackaging bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and typing and affixing labels
• Mixing pharmaceutical preparations, according to written prescriptions
• Verifying prescriptions and counseling
• Assisting customers by answering simple questions, locating items, or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information

• Area: Flexible availability and ability to travel in the Reno, NV area.
• Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open and active Nevada Pharmacist license
• Education: B.S. or Pharm D
• Years of experience: 1+ year(s) of recent pharmacy experience within a retail setting. To be scheduled for Hospital Inpatient pharmacies, you will need 1+ year(s) of Staff or Clinical Pharmacist experience.
• Schedule: Varies, weekends/holidays may be needed
• Pay: Depending On Experience
• Background/drug requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, and drug screen
• Expenses covered: Meals, Miles, and Lodging with prior approval with distances travelled over 100 miles
