Summary
We are looking for great people to work closely with these top customers to ensure that they have the most cutting edge solutions available. This role may require frequent travel both domestic and international. Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology. Advertising technology a plus. Solutions Architects (SA) are critical as technical experts on custom solutions for new sales, or when integrating new features with existing partners. The Buyer Solutions Architecture team is focused on new feature integrations primarily with Demand Side Platforms (DSPs).
Responsibilities
* Build a broad understanding of the Rubicon Project product suite from a DSP perspective * Work with the account management team to prioritize, plan, and execute client engagements * Engage with partners to understand their objectives and align with existing or custom solutions * Assist partners with the design and implementation of complete solutions built on top of Rubicon APIs * Build an advisory relationship with partner technology and product leadership * Synthesize partner feedback to the product team for future development work
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor of Science or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline * Two to three years of experience within the ad tech industry in an engineering, product management or technical account management capacity * Effective communication skills across diverse audiences including engineering leadership, product teams, and sales or account executives * Sufficient knowledge of html, css, and javascript to build simple web-based applications * Experience with modern Java development and tooling is highly prefered * An ability to travel as much as 50% of your time and occasionally on short notice
