Summary
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with a great sense of teamwork and organizational skills to join our Accounts Payable team as the Accounts Payable Supervisor. The AP Supervisor is responsible for maintaining efficient daily operations of Rubicon Project’s supplier relationships and our full cycle accounts payable processes in a paperless environment, as well as providing additional support to the rest of the Accounts Payable team.
Responsibilities
* Manage the accounts payable cycle for suppliers from invoice entry to payment. * Ensure proper coding of invoices, departmental approvals and accurate entry into the Oracle ERP system. * Prepare weekly check run - create batches, distribute payments for approval and post payments in Oracle. * Verify and ensure vendor payments are made timely according to vendor terms. * Assist with the month-end and quarter close, including managing the close of the accounts payable systems and identifying accruals when necessary. * Reconcile the AP Trade balances to the general ledger. * Mentor and coach AP staff. * Coordination and assistance with internal and external auditors. * Review Concur T&E expense files.
Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounts payable experience * Work well in a team environment * Working knowledge of Oracle or a large ERP system desired * Experience in a paperless environment preferred * Organized, energetic, accurate and detail oriented * Ability to prioritize and track tasks effectively. * Strong excel skills, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups * Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and track tasks effectively * International experience preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Analytical problem-solving skills * Strong team player who works well in a fast-paced, changing environment
