We work with insurance wholesalers to provide a wide range of insurance products, including: property, casualty, professional liability and directors and officers ("D&O") liability coverage. RSUI provides insurance to thousands of companies nationwide.
In collaboration with the Catastrophe Manager, this position assists with all aspects of corporate catastrophe modeling activities.
- Capture high quality exposure data reflective of RSUI’s Property Portfolio
- Complete all activities involving catastrophe modeling at the individual risk level
- Manipulation of complex data to assist underwriters in better understanding concentrations of exposure
- In conjunction with Catastrophe Manager, help compile the monthly report to management and property underwriters providing summary and detailed statistics depicting RSUI’s catastrophe exposures
- Collaborate with the Catastrophe Manager on projects and various other duties as assigned.
- Assist in the understanding of RSUI’s catastrophe exposures
- Continue to advance in the understanding of all aspects of Catastrophe models
- 4 Year College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the field or a related area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical ability with good judgment
- High degree of integrity and professionalism
- Fluent in the use of of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word & Excel), RMS and/or AIR licensed catastrophe model(s) and SQL Server
