Summary
In collaboration with the Catastrophe Manager, this position assists with all aspects of corporate catastrophe modeling activities.
Responsibilities
* Capture high quality exposure data reflective of RSUI’s Property Portfolio * Complete all activities involving catastrophe modeling at the individual risk level * Manipulation of complex data to assist underwriters in better understanding concentrations of exposure * In conjunction with Catastrophe Manager, help compile the monthly report to management and property underwriters providing summary and detailed statistics depicting RSUI’s catastrophe exposures * Collaborate with the Catastrophe Manager on projects and various other duties as assigned. * Assist in the understanding of RSUI’s catastrophe exposures * Continue to advance in the understanding of all aspects of Catastrophe models
Ideal Candidate
* 4 Year College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the field or a related area * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical ability with good judgment * High degree of integrity and professionalism * Fluent in the use of of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word & Excel), RMS and/or AIR licensed catastrophe model(s) and SQL Server
