Experienced Call Center Representative / Collector

Job Responsibilities: - Contacting customers/consumers via telephone to attempt debt collection - Establishing customers/consumers ability and willingness to pay and identifying the appropriate repayment program/options available to them - Tracking and reporting all account information into computer through our collections system - Meeting or exceeding all daily, weekly and monthly production goals - Understanding and following all federal and state laws with regards to collections policies and procedures - Passing annual required compliance testing - Performing other duties and special projects as assigned by management

Job Requirements: As a Collections Associate, you must be energetic, assertive, charismatic and able to easily handle rejection. You must also be ambitious, driven and assertive. This position requires excellent verbal interpersonal negotiation communication skills. You must also be highly detail oriented and able to multi-task. Must be a team player, cooperate well with a variety of personalities and individuals and participate in a professional manner to accomplish business goals. - No felonies - No misdemeanors (minor traffic violations are ok) - Negative UA (negative drug test) - 18 Years of age - High School Diploma or GED - Bi-Lingual is a plus ($0.25 pay increase with no experience / $0.50 pay increase with experience) - Sales, telemarketing or call center experience a plus
