Summary
RBC Home Equity Financing Marketing is seeking a passionate, energetic, results oriented, strategic leader to champion Mass Advertising, Programmatic Marketing and 365 Day Marketing programs and support superior business growth. The desired candidate will bring extensive knowledge and experience in multi-channel marketing, strong leadership and strategic capabilities and an innovative lens to help drive premium-over-market acquisition growth. This individual will also be a strong team leader, influencer and collaborator who can bring together and leverage the expertise of a broad range of internal and external partners and deliver flawlessly in market.
Responsibilities
* Deliver leadership, marketing strategy and creative innovation to support Home Equity Financing (HEF) acquisition growth. * Translate deep client understanding and competitive industry context into well thought through recommendations and keep a keen eye to process to drive efficiencies and excellence across all stages. * Provide strong people management skills - leading, motivating and developing a high performing direct report * Champion mass acquisition initiatives, working closely with business partners to translate business objective into campaign strategies and programs that deliver business targets. * Lead the development of annual and program specific marketing / media strategies and plans, driving innovation, performance and efficiency across all channels. Careful attention paid to optimization and alignment with RBC Channels to maximize impact and engagement. * Disciplined delivery of dashboards, measurement and analyses on key programs to enable strategic conversations, drive insights, learnings, efficiencies and future planning. * Work closely with cross functional peers to align on common goals and deliver plans effectively and efficiently. * Collaborate with business partners, oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive campaign strategies and tactical plans culminating in flawless execution * Work closely with Strategic agency partners to deliver creative that is on brand, on time and on budget and media plans that are innovative, drive results and deliver value/strong ROI.
Ideal Candidate
**Must- have:** * 7-10 years marketing and advertising experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic capacity. * 2-3 years people management experience, * Marketing strategic work, and comfort presenting to large groups including executives. * Analytical, detail oriented nature with experience using numbers and fact based approach to deliver marketing insights and action. * Experience in all marketing disciplines including mass, media, digital and social. * Proven track record and experience delivering integrated multimedia marketing campaigns * Experience in planning, executing and tracking to multimillion dollar budgets * Strong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way across the organization. * A creative eye combined with a keen focus on executing with excellence. * Excellent grasp of consumer environment associated with financial service products **Nice-to-have:** FI experience an asset and/or experience in large matrix organizations
