Summary

The Sourcing Coordinator is primarily responsible for reviewing and processing requests from District personnel to fulfill any material shortage that is impacting repair for a customer’s system.

Responsibilities
  • This position will be responsible to query existing inventory availability and or to issue new purchase orders to fill the requirements.
  • Coordinate with the District and Service Resource Center with information on the planned receipt date of the material.
  • Review inventory requirements and make decision where to source inventory.
  • Transfers from existing inventory or new purchase order. Communicate and provide post-order support to branch offices for activities including but not limited to PO expediting/modification/cancellation, order tracking and issue resolution.
  • Work with suppliers to provide quotes and estimated ship dates to district offices and Service Resource Center.
Ideal Candidate
  • High School degree required/Associate degree in relevant field preferred.
  • 2+ years in a Supply Chain environment.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume transactional environment and/or customer-facing role.
  • Ability to master usage of customized IT applications (Oracle).Skilled in full MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint).
