Summary
Budgeting, Calendar Management, Executive assistant, Report Development, Scheduling, State Agency experience, Travel Arrangements, Verbal and Written Communication
Responsibilities
* Work with IT department to insure that all office equipment (computers, printers and phone systems, etc.) are working properly at all times. * Provide technology troubleshooting and assistance to employees. * Accurately prepare and file time and expense reports, and maintain appropriate records per company policy. * Make travel arrangements, arrange meetings, update calendars, and assist office visitors. * Maintain and order office supplies to ensure a steady work environment for all employees. * Review budget each month and identify potential problem areas. * Review all invoices for accuracy, process in a timely manner and insure they are paid as directed. * Accurately prepare, receive internal approvals and file federally required documents on time. * Conduct legislative, political, and regulatory research. * Compile quarterly executive level meeting materials. * Flexibility to tackle new projects as they arise. * Political Action Committee (ClientPAC) Support- Maintain accurate records of all requests and disbursements. * Work with software vendor to insure that checks are written and recorded properly. * Maintain an itemized list of all internal ClientPAC gift disbursements with monetary value. * Prepare electronic and paper mailings to members and help with database maintenance. * Assist with events, meetings, solicitations, and other projects as they arise.
Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of two years of related experience is required with strong preference given to candidates with experience in Congress, the Administration, or a government affairs setting. * The successful candidate must possess previous experience in a high paced environment, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to work in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Lotus Notes. * This person needs to be sharp, discreet and must possess strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
