The Enterprise Business Unit at Rogers Communications focuses on providing Canadian Corporations and Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB’s) with the most innovative technical services and solutions. As part of our efforts in continue serving Corporations and SMB’s across Canada, we are seeking a dynamic Sr. Java Developer who will work as part of the EBU Development and Support team to deliver projects and to support our business partners to maintain operational efficiencies through our technical platform and suite of applications.

* Technical/systems analysis, design, development, unit testing, system integration testing, implementation, and production support of software applications, using existing and emerging technology platforms. * Ensuring documented standards and procedures are adhered to * Obtain the necessary clarity of the requirements, working with project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders to develop and plan technical strategies; agree upon project priorities and deliver applications that support business requirement, including systems integration testing prior to code release to Quality Assurance. * Solid understanding of the businesses, well-developed people, and project management skills.

* Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate. * 5+ years of equivalent experience as Senior Java Developer * Data Base : Knowledge and working experience in Oracle 12 SQL, stored procedures ,function, and packages. Database table tuning and performance, proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL * Web Server /Application Server : Oracle Web logic and Oracle Service Bus, Web Portal * Programming server side : Java and J2EE technologies (Servlets, EJB,JMS) technologies and OOP principles, Web Services, Java, Java Script, JSP, Struts, and XML * Programming client side : Struts, MVC, JSP, Java script HTML and XML * UI-View: CSS3, HTML 5, JQuery, Angular JS * Model: JPA, Hibernate * Controller/Webservice: Spring
