Senior Associate of Asset Management

* Manage strategic execution of investments in commercial real estate * Maintain and review detailed financial models including forward looking cash flows by property * Model investor returns under different scenarios * Assist with conducting transaction analysis and compiling loan packages; Support due diligence for new acquisitions * Develop analytical tools allowing executives to better understand the state of the portfolio * Manage interface with leasing brokers and negotiate lease terms based on proforma budget * Assist with construction management and value engineering for capital projects and tenant improvements * Identify and explain the key drivers of variance to prior periods and present findings to senior management team * Managing lender relationships, compliance, and process lender draws * Review and distribute monthly and annual reports for management and investors * Coordinate annual budgeting process; Track and forecast asset performance relative to proforma * Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and streamline reporting * Document best practices and existing processes for the asset management team * Participate in special projects from senior leadership team

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; MBA preferred * 4 – 6 years of experience in commercial real estate; investor/developer background preferred * Extensive knowledge of real estate finance including commercial lease terms, debt and equity structures, and overall market research and comprehension * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Advanced knowledge and high proficiency in Excel including building asset management models, templates for other users, and running analysis on unique value-add situations; working knowledge of Argus * Candidate must be a self-starter who takes initiative; must have a desire to advance quickly, contribute to company-wide initiatives, and enjoy peer-to-peer coaching * Ability to work independently, be proactive, and be resourceful in an entrepreneurial environment * Able to successfully work in a team-oriented environment and partner with different functional groups; must have strong professional communication skills * Capable of multi-tasking and maintaining a strong attention to detail under strict deadlines * Strong work ethic, a high-level of integrity, and the ability to take direction * The role is best suited for a pre-MBA or recent MBA graduate
