We have many Direct Support Professionals positions available. Paid training is provided on-site to ensure that you are comfortable supporting the individuals before you start working in the field. RISE offers and assists with required trainings such as CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.

This is a rewarding opportunity! There are a wide range of responsibilities that you may have because the needs of each individual vary. Some responsibilities include: going on fun outings in the community, administering medications and meet skill development goals (teaching proper hygiene techniques, effective communication, model suitable coping mechanisms and socially appropriate behavior, etc.)

* Must be at least eighteen (18) years. * Must be over twenty-one (21) years if required to drive a RISE vehicle and meet other requirements as specified by the RISE Insurance Agency. * Must pass background clearance. * Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required to meet the needs of the people/families receiving support, and demonstrate a knowledge of and respect for cultural differences. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience and/or education in the field of developmental disabilities or related field preferred.
