Managing Editor, Digital Editorial Content

RevZilla.com is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Managing Editor, and motorcycle lover, to lead our editorial team for Common Tread. Your senior experience as a writer and contributing editor have made developing an editorial calendar, contributor pool and distribution strategy a recurring theme in your career. Our future Managing Editor will be a highly organized taskmaster with an excellent ability to develop story ideas, stay abreast of the industry’s pulse and plan our content distribution to a “t.”

- Develop and manage editorial calendar - Manage CMS and deliverables - Manage, coordinate and expand pool of freelance contributors - Research and develop story ideas - Collaborate with Marketing, Social and Video teams in order to develop multi-pronged content campaigns - Coordinate OEM and vendor relations - Use editorial sensibility and data in tandem to iterate and refine both written content strategy and execution in real time - Stay abreast of the cutting edge in the motorcycle industry

- 5+ years of related work experience in journalism and/or digital content industry - Lover of all things moto. A rider, enthusiast and voracious consumer of moto content - Extensive experience creating and editing content across digital platforms - Experience building, managing and coaching an editorial team - Working knowledge of SEO - Experience thinking editorially across the spectrum of digital media. Understanding how content is shared across both established and emerging platforms - Eager to roll up your sleeves and build this content portal into an industry juggernaut - Bachelors degree in journalism, communication or related field
