DevOps Engineer

* Actively participate in the planning of new features and products, with a critical eye toward the creation, maintenance and cost of infrastructure necessary to support them. * Participate in an on-call rotation with the rest of the engineering team. * Designing, building and scaling infrastructure solutions. * Support and enable stable systems that process terabytes of data per month. * Write and maintain scripts and recipes for collecting performance data ensuring Return Path products include necessary metrics and are properly monitored. * Communicate issues, goals and milestones effectively. * Participation - the team is highly collaborative and does code reviews and design meetings regularly.

* Curiosity, a desire to learn, and a drive to build highly available systems. * 3+ years of production DevOps / systems administration experience, preferably at a SaaS based company. * Unassailable and immensely deep knowledge of Linux, networking, data storage. * 1+ year of experience with AWS or other cloud hosting providers. * Experience working in a high volume data processing environment. * Experience with a configuration/deployment management tool (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet) * Experience with security policies and practices. * Experience with a massive key-value or document store (e.g. Redis, MongoDB, Riak, Cassandra) and traditional RDBMS (MySQL, Postgresql) * Experience with Docker in a CoreOS ecosystem (flannel, fleet, etcd), Kubernetes. * Experience with GoCD
