We are looking for a few individuals with the technical chops and drive to help develop ResMed’s new suite of mobile applications. You will join a highly dynamic and innovative mobile development team working on the latest technologies and in the exciting fast growing mHealth space where mobile meets medical.

Responsibilities

Build best-in-class consumer medical applications that are reliable and a pleasure to use Collaborate with stakeholders on mobile application design Assist in the establishment and adherence to Android mobile app development best practices Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Ideal Candidate

* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
* A portfolio of engaging and high quality apps
* Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience required
* Minimum of 3 years of Android application development experience required 
* Deep understanding of Java and the internals of Android frameworks
* Extensive knowledge of Android common software design patterns, including the ones needed to develop connected applications with high-performing UI
* Experience using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript in mobile applications
* Experience working within an Agile software development process, particularly Scrum
* Must be able to travel internationally on an infrequent basis
* Medical mobile application experience preferred 
* Proficient with fragments and latest Android controls.
* Proficient with networking classes and connecting to REST services
* Excellent understanding of Android architecture patterns
* Up to date with latest Google tools (Android studio) and features
* Experience with third party framework integration
* Team player
