Summary
Under limited supervision, conducts inventory control activity including data entry, creating purchase orders, and performing a monthly inventory.
Responsibilities
* Enters data for the production schedule.
* Finds and corrects inventory variances.
* Orders supplies for the production department.
* Conducts monthly and yearly inventory.
* Assists purchasing in creating and receiving product orders.
* Contacts vendors regarding inventory discrepancies.
* Places Distribution Resource Planning (DRP) orders.
* Relieves supervisor duties when on vacation or out of the office.
Ideal Candidate
* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
* Inventory experience is preferred.
* Basic PC skills.
* English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
