Prestigious Organization is seeking a C# .NET Developer for their Sussex, Wisconsin or Chicago, IL office. This position will implement, test, and document new software systems and applications as well as maintain and enhance existing applications in order to achieve corporate objectives.

* Design and develop custom web based software solutions * Provide maintenance of existing software applications * Design and develop custom software solutions and man to machine interfaces with off-the-shelf hardware as well as hardware developed in-house. * Create rich user interfaces and develop back-end transactions/procedures * Other responsibilities as assigned by manager

* Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft .NET development with demonstrated experience using ASP.NET 4.0 * Must have strong OOP skills using C# and/or VB.net, along with jQuery, JavaScript and AJAX. * Must have knowledge and understanding of XML * Must possess the ability to work in a small development team with minimum mentoring * Good verbal and written communication skills are a must. * Superior organizational skills * Knowledge of distributed computing and MSMQ 2.0/3.0 is a plus * Ability to travel for project startups (2-5 weeks at a time) is a plus. **Education And Work Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required * 3-5 years of experience in the design, development, and deployment of custom software applications, with specific experience: - creating and/or working with .NET web services - creating and updating SQL Server stored procedures and transactions - creating web applications that interact with these procedures. - Using development tools such as VS.net, Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server, and/or Subversion - Experience interfacing with external hardware and process control development a plus. - Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer certification (MCSD) desired but not required.
