Sr Manager, MCU Apps Engineering (IoT Unit)

Renesas Electronics America is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead a team of engineers to develop and support advanced MCU-based solutions. This person will report directly to the Sr. Director of the Solutions Engineering department.

• Manage MCU applications engineering team
• Provide team leadership in the development of embedded systems solutions
• Project management including creating and maintaining project schedules, resources and budgets
• Develop and coordinate 3rd party partner relationships
• Work with Renesas regional engineering teams
• Work with marketing to align on product requirements and project objectives
• Work with the legal department on NDAs, contracts, etc.
• Implement engineering processes to ensure high quality output

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred
• Demonstrated experience in developing MCU-based products/systems
• At least 10 years of experience managing an engineering team
• Experience managing both hardware and software teams
• H/W development including board level circuit design; digital and analog
• Embedded F/W development in C
• System level design and integration
• Experience using embedded system development tools
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
