About Remix
Remix is the first planning platform for public transit, helping planners from 200+ agencies worldwide to design transit networks quickly, confidently, and clearly. Remix supports the entire planning process -- from temporary detours and regular service changes to complete system redesigns and coordinated community outreach.
Summary
Come help us build a real-life SimCity. We’re looking for sharp engineers who can work across the stack to improve the world’s first transit planning platform. Our stack is Rails, Python, Javascript (React) and Postgres/PostGIS. You’ll get to work with a smart, collaborative team of six other engineers.
Responsibilities
* Building out new features and experiences to help cities make better decisions about public transit
* Building systems to ingest and model transit data
* Continuously improving our performance and user experience
Ideal Candidate
* You’ve built high-quality products before.
* You have experience working across the web stack, and thinking about how to architect systems
* You’re resourceful — we’re a small company, and you’ll do a bit of everything
* Making cities better excites you
