Responsibilities
* Leading a Quality Assurance group across several products, ensuring the best quality products for our customers * Developing and leading testing programs that focus on software scenarios, performance testing, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability testing * Creating testing programs that address areas such as user experience, product performance, high-growth scalability, database impacts, and other non-functional requirements * Assisting in developing and implementing an automated testing strategy to improve product quality and reduce regression testing time * Developing QA metrics for performance improvement and presenting improvement ideas * Implementing ongoing quality improvement processes * Working with closely with other department leaders to establish standards and strategy * Mentoring QA analysts grown their skills, process and tool knowledge
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years QA experience or Software Development experience * 3+ years in a leadership position * Initiative! There are always ways to improve. Be that person that constantly thinks about how to improve the quality of our products and processes * Automation testing experience, preferably in Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and/or Test Driven Development (TDD) * Agile (SCRUM) experience delivering working software every two weeks * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
