Summary
As an Associate Test Engineer, you will participate in a fast-paced Agile development team, building a healthcare learning management system. Your main responsibilities will be to design, develop, and implement automated tests for software solutions and leverage the current agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
* Test automation & scripting utilizing tools such as Cucumber, Specflow, Selenium, Ruby, C# * Writing test scenarios, including identifying the detailed test data needs * Delivering high quality software releases * Collaborate with end-users and the project team, technology and operational functions critical to the relevance of the product. * Contribute to a pro-active, self-motivating Scrum team, the technical architecture and implementation, and team efficiency initiatives and culture * Remove roadblocks and escalate risks * Integration, stress, performance, scalability, and/or load testing
Ideal Candidate
**You have what it takes if you have…** * Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience * Experience with user interface and automated functional testing of web, client-server, mobile, and tablet applications * Strong communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skills * Experience with system integration testing of back-end components and integration points * Experience with defect tracking and change management * Experience with creation and execution of test cases/scripts * Experience with ad-hoc testing without documented requirements * Experience with quality assurance best practices and the ability to implement them in a process maturing environment * Must be a good problem solver * Must be a self-starter that can self-manage their daily workload **Who you have to be…** * Tester of all the things – Build, Break, Fix, Automate, Repeat. * An optimist * Self-starter, collaborative team player, and desire to collaborate with other members of the team
